- Choose an energy efficient building - reduce service costs.
- You aren't responsible for structural repairs etc.
- If you get a new landlord they may choose to update the interior - technically, this shouldn't increase rent but will better your surroundings.
Disadvantages -
- Tied down to a lease/contract.
- Although you are not responsible for structural repairs sometimes the landlord can take a long time to actually get the job done.
Regardless of how beneficial it could be...if its too expensive, it may not be financially viable at first -

Evidently you can get studio space for a reasonable price but I would need to do more research into actual location etc.
